Operation Just Cause (Operación Causa Justa)

The poster for Operation Just Cause was developed around an image of silence. Rather than presenting the film through its characters, the design turns to Amador Cemetery, a landmark deeply connected to El Chorrillo and to the memory of the invasion.

An angel rises from the water beneath the presence of helicopters, holding the image between mourning and force, stillness and violence. The composition reflects the film’s central tension: a country caught in a moment of shock, loss and unanswered history.

The result is a poster that does not describe the invasion directly. It lets the image carry its weight, suggesting what was seen, what was hidden and what still resists being spoken.
